Central Bark Mequon is looking for an experienced part-time or full-time groomer.
Current days of the week needed are Monday-Friday. Starting working hours would be 8 or 9am into early afternoon. Hours can be negotiable. No weekends needed.
We are looking for applicants that have at least two - four years of grooming experience. Applicants must be comfortable with scissor work and able to perform cuts/trims relevant to all breed and coat conditions. We schedule by the hour so that dogs get quality one on one care in a less stressful environment.
Responsibilities include:
-Discussing grooming requests with customers and building relationship with parent
-Providing the desired look and cut parents are requesting and discussing pros/cons
-We have an existing clientele but are also looking for someone who is willing to build customer clientele and promote grooming in daycare
-Excellent dog handling skills on groom table and in the facility overall using positive reinforcement
-Maintaining grooming records and vaccinations
-General upkeep and cleaning of the grooming rooms
-Communicate with daycare staff and customers about scheduling and pricing
Requirements:
-Must have own grooming tools. You will be responsible for maintaining all personal tools, keeping tools sharp and clean
-Excellence in customer service
-Must be reliable, friendly, honest, outgoing, and willing to work with other groomers
-Must have a good work ethic, attention to detail, and timeliness

-We provide dryers, shampoos, tables, kennels, towels, and scheduling assistance. It will be your responsibility maintaining and cleaning provided equipment and general work space
