Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality grooming services for dogs, including bathing, brushing, and nail trimming.
- Handle and restrain animals safely to ensure their comfort and security during grooming.
- Assess the health and condition of pets, reporting any concerns to pet owners.
- Maintain a clean and organized grooming area, adhering to hygiene standards.
- Offer excellent customer service by communicating effectively with pet owners about grooming needs and aftercare.
- Stay updated on grooming techniques and trends to enhance skills and service quality.
Qualifications
- Proficient in animal handling and care, particularly with dogs
- Strong skills in pet grooming and animal restraint
- Experience in customer service and pet sitting
- Knowledge of dog training and veterinary practices is a plus
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and manage kennel duties effectively
- Previous experience as a veterinary assistant or technician is advantageous
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract
Pay: $20.31 - $22.68 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
