Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Dog Groomer with 5+ years of grooming experience to join our team. As a highly skilled groomer, you will be responsible for providing 5-star grooming services and exceptional customer care. From the moment the pet enters until they leave looking and feeling their best, you will be the one providing a personalized and thorough grooming experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform grooming services including, but not limited to:
- Bathing and drying
- Hair cutting and styling based on client requests
- Brushing out coats and flea treatments
- Clipping and buffing nails
- Gland expression
- Dematting and ear cleaning
- Maintain a clean and safe grooming area throughout the day and at the end of your shift
- Ensure that each pet is treated with care, compassion, and respect throughout the entire grooming process
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating with pet owners about their pet's needs and preferences
- Work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of professional grooming experience
- Creative and detail-oriented, able to exceed clients' expectations with every grooming session
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to build positive relationships with pet owners
- Comfortable working with all breeds and sizes of dogs
- Certificate in grooming is a plus
- Ability to handle pets safely and with care
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Passion for animals and a genuine love for dogs
