Overview:
Wag N' Wash Elkhorn is open and looking for more groomers! The West Omaha grooming demand is booming and we are having a hard time keeping up with it. We are looking for experienced groomers who are ready to hit the ground running. All qualified applicants will be notified within 24 hours.

What You’ll Do

To give our furry clients the ultimate “spa day” experience, we need groomers that can:

Provide grooming services, like brushing, bathing, and conditioning for pets
Groom and style pets per owners’ instruction and/or according to breed standards
Follow all company safety policies to keep you and our neighbor’s pets safe
Develop long-term relationships with neighbors by understanding their needs and recommending products and services that will keep their pet healthy and happy
Community outreach to attract new neighbors into our store
Successful completion of safety training certification
Utilize the instore scheduling tool and assist neighbors in booking appointments
Perform routine cleaning to keep the grooming environment fun and inviting

What You Need to Get the Job Done

1-year or more of grooming experience with formal training certification and/or experience under an established certified groomer.
Have excellent communication skills
Have exceptional Customer Service skills
Ensure that all pets are safe during the grooming process
Be able to cut to AKC Breed Standards and perform skills, such as carding and hand stripping
Have a sound understanding of animal behavior
Ability to move or lift merchandise, equipment or pets weighing up to 50 pounds
Be able to stand, bend or stoop for extended periods of time
Candidates must be flexible in working evenings, weekends and holidays
Candidates must be 18 years or older
