Canine Design Pet Grooming in Oak Grove, Mo. is looking to add another experienced groomer to our team. Full-time or Part-Time/ No Saturdays
We are looking for someone who is extremely friendly, talented, reliable and very motivated. Canine Design Pet Grooming is an established grooming shop, of 18 years and has a great clientele that pre-book. Our focus is providing the absolute best possible experience for our clients. We emphasize achieving the best quality of work on the pets and excellent customer service with the pet owner. We are a drama free shop that loves what we do and tries to have fun while we are Grooming.
Job Description:
*Bathing,drying & grooming dogs to the owners request
* Groom 6 to 7 dogs depending on size of dog, You can do more if able
*Ensure the safety, well-being, and comfort of all pets in our care.
*Maintain a clean and organized enviroment
*Assist with other tasks such as cleaning
* A great attitude
* Be able to communicate with clients in a professional manner while catering to their dogs needs.
* Help check in and out dogs ,answer phones and make appointments
* You must be able to work with all breeds, temperaments, and hair types and able to do breed-specific cuts.
* Must work well with other employees( As a team)

Groomer Experience:
* MUST LOVE DOGS- We have a lot of them!
* Experienced professional grooming
* Must have own equipment and hand tools. I do have clippers, tools that is available for use.
* Able to work with a large variety of dog breeds & Doodles
* Able to interact with customers in a warm, friendly and professional manner
* Provides breed-specific standard grooms, and /or follow clients instructions so pets are groomed to specifications and satisfaction of the client.
* Must have great scissoring skills
* Reliability & be able to workwith team members to reach our common goals.
* Ability to work in a fast paced environment and able to remain calm under pressure and during stressful situations
*Work history indicate stability
*Pay based on experience
*Paid vacation after a year of employment/Full-time employment
