- Smokers need not apply. We have a zero tolerance for the smell of cig smoke in our mobile salon, our driving cab, or any residual smell of cigarette smoke due to the detrimental affect on the outcome of the groom for our clientele and the close environment we work in.
Job Requirements:
- Must be of the highest character and integrity.
- Must be a team player.
- Must be able to achieve exceptional groom quality of a minimum of 6 to 8 dogs per day.
- Groom pets according to specific breed standards and customer preference.
- Must have superior grooming and finishing skills.
- Perform basic and advanced grooming tasks.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of pets during grooming process.
- Maintain a clean and organized grooming station inside and outside van.
- Must be willing and able to perform additional duties as requested.
- Must be able to safely drive a large grooming van to perform duties. Will train.
- Must have an excellent driving record.
- Must be able to pass background check.
```Qualifications:```
- 2 + years grooming experience and be able to groom 6 to 8 dogs per day
- Knowledge of different breeds and their specific grooming requirements
- Ability to handle pets with safety, care, and compassion
- Strong customer service skills to interact with pet owners, help with customized services
- Physical stamina to handle some assisting of heavier dogs at times and standing for long
periods of time
This position involves additional duties unique to mobile grooming such as driving a grooming van, adding gas, replenish water tank, recording general maintenance records, returning, parking, and cleaning of inside of van at end of day.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $485.34 - $517.13 per day
Expected hours: 10 – 40 per week
