Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Master Pet Groomer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a love for animals and experience in providing high-quality grooming services. As a Master Pet Groomer, you will be responsible for ensuring the health and well-being of pets while delivering exceptional grooming services to our clients. Your role will involve working closely with pets, their owners, and other team members to create a positive experience for all.

Duties

Perform grooming tasks including bathing, brushing, trimming, and nail clipping for various breeds of dogs.
Assess the condition of pets’ coats and skin to determine appropriate grooming techniques.
Maintain a clean and safe grooming environment by adhering to hygiene standards.
Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding their pets’ grooming needs and any observed health issues.
Handle animals with care and use proper restraint techniques to ensure their safety during grooming.
Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns professionally.
Assist in maintaining inventory of grooming supplies and equipment.

Skills

Previous experience, at least 2 years, as a Master Pet Groomer preferred.
Strong knowledge of pet care practices, including animal restraint and handling techniques.
Ability to perform heavy lifting when handling larger breeds or equipment.
Excellent customer service skills to foster positive relationships with pet owners.
Familiarity with various grooming tools and techniques specific to different breeds.
A compassionate approach towards animals, ensuring their comfort throughout the grooming process.
Strong attention to detail to ensure high-quality grooming results.
