We are independently owned and focused on creating the best possible grooming experience for our fur baby clients and our grooming team that take care of them. We offer many of the benefits of a private salon and the benefits of a working for a larger organization with a steady stream of pet parents.
Compensation and Training
For experienced groomers we offer signing bonuses based upon experience and existing clientele. Commission rate vary based upon experience and our rates are some of the highest in the area - despite numerous price increases.
Responsibilities/Qualifications
As an Experienced Groomer with us, you’re passionate about pets and their needs while taking of their parents needs as well. Key responsibilities include:
- Delighting neighbors and pets with grooming services, like brushing, bathing, and conditioning.
- Grooming and styling pets per owners’ instruction and/or according to breed standards.
- Always ensuring the wellness and safety of furry patrons.
- Developing long-term relationships with pet parents by understanding their needs and recommending products and services that will keep their pet healthy and happy.
- Successfully completing Safety Training certification.
- Performing routine cleaning to keep the grooming environment fun and inviting.
Experienced Groomer candidates will have:
- A High school diploma or GED.
- 2 years or more of current grooming experience with formal training certification and/or experience under an established certified groomer.
- Ability to move or lift merchandise, equipment or pets weighing 50 pounds or more.
- Ability to stand, bend or stoop for extended periods of time.
- Ability to provide your own equipment (clippers/blades/scissors/etc.)

Mr Dark PSP LLC owns and operates the Pet Supplies Plus in Boise (Garden City) Idaho and Lehi Utah.
