Job Summary
We are located in the heart of Boca Raton surrounded by high end shops and restaurants in Royal Palm Plaza. We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Pet Groomer to join our team. We provide unique and high quality grooming experience to our clients. The ideal candidate will have a love for animals and possess the skills necessary to provide high-quality grooming services. This role involves working closely with pets and their owners to ensure a positive grooming experience while maintaining the health and well-being of the animals.

Duties

Perform grooming services including stylish haircut, bathing, brushing, nail trimming, and ear cleaning for dogs.
Utilize proper animal restraint techniques to ensure safety for both the groomer and the pet during grooming procedures.
Assess the condition of pets’ coats and skin, identifying any health issues that may require attention from a veterinarian.
Maintain a clean and organized grooming area, ensuring all tools and equipment are sanitized after each use.
Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding their pets' grooming needs, preferences, and any observed health concerns.
Provide excellent customer service to build lasting relationships with clients and their pets.
Handle heavy lifting when necessary, particularly with larger breeds or multiple pets.
Collaborate with other staff members as needed to ensure comprehensive pet care.

Requirements

Proven at least 3 years of experience in pet grooming.
Strong skills in animal restraint and dog handling techniques to ensure safe interactions with pets.
Ability to perform heavy lifting as required when handling larger animals or equipment.
Excellent customer service skills to foster positive relationships with pet owners.
A genuine passion for animal care and welfare, demonstrating patience and compassion in all interactions.
Certification in pet grooming or related fields is an advantage but not required.

Pay: $150.00 - $450.00 per day

Expected hours: 18 – 48 per week
