Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Pet Groomer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a love for animals and a strong commitment to providing high-quality grooming services. As a Pet Groomer, you will be responsible for the grooming and care of pets, ensuring they look and feel their best. This role requires excellent animal handling skills and the ability to work with various breeds and temperaments.

Responsibilities

Perform grooming services including bathing, brushing, trimming, and styling pets according to breed standards or client preferences.
Assess the condition of pets' coats and skin, identifying any health issues that may require veterinary attention.
Handle animals safely and humanely, using appropriate restraint techniques when necessary.
Maintain a clean and organized grooming area, ensuring all tools and equipment are sanitized after each use.
Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding their pets' grooming needs and any observations about their health or behavior.
Provide additional services such as nail trimming, ear cleaning, and anal gland expression as required.
Keep accurate records of services performed and any special instructions provided by pet owners.

Experience

Must have pet grooming experience
Ability to perform heavy lifting when handling larger breeds or equipment is required.
Knowledge of animal restraint techniques to ensure the safety of both the groomer and the pet during grooming sessions is important.
